WAKE BOARDING
Two competition ski boats, sky-lons, wakeboards, water skis, hydro-slides, booms for learning the basics and top quality instruction: Coppercreek truly has it all. Our lake program runs seven days a week on the beautiful Lake Almanor, just six miles from camp. Our instructors are all Red Cross lifeguards and most have grown up water skiing and wakeboarding themselves. Lake Almanor, with it's spectacular backdrop of Lassen Peak, offers a variety of water conditions so beginners can learn on calm water while more advanced wake-boarders are challenged in the open water of this huge, un-crowded lake. Campers can sign up for either a morning or afternoon session on our ski boats. Sign ups are taken each evening for the next day, and like riding, not all campers choose to go to the lake, leaving more opportunities for those campers who can't get enough. We have a teaching boom that can be installed on one of our boats, so that even the most timid, novice skier or boarder can be successful! Our other boat is equipped with a sky-lon, so that the most advanced wake-boarders can practice the latest tricks and jumps.
