DRIVING DIRECTIONS
Coppercreek Camp is located in Greenville, a small town in beautiful Northern California about 2 hours from the North Shore of Lake Tahoe, 10 minutes from Lake Almanor, and about 5 hours from the San Francisco Bay Area.
For the safety and security of our campers and staff, driving directions to Coppercreek are not available on our website. Driving directions to camp will be sent out with the parent packet after enrollment. If you are interested in visiting camp prior to enrollment, please give us a call at 1-800-350-0006 to set up an appointment.
Arrival times are 1 to 4 pm on Sundays and pick up times are between 9 am and 12 pm on Saturdays.
AIRPORT TRANSPORTATION
We pick up and drop off at the Reno Tahoe International Airport for those campers traveling by air for a charge of $20 each way.
When you book travel for your camper please try to find flights during these time frames:
Arrival times: Between 10:00 am and 3:00 pm
Departure times: Between 11:00 am and 4:00 am
If you are having difficulty finding flights that work during these hours, just call us and we can discuss options.
We are also offering several escorted flights this summer. A Coppercreek counselor is scheduled on the following flights:
June 19 - July 17 - July 31:
Southwest Flight #1566: Departing San Jose at 3 pm and arriving in Reno at 3:55 pm.
Southwest Flight #603: Departing LAX at 1:20 pm and arriving in Reno at 2:35 pm.
July 2 - July 16 - July 30 - August 13
Southwest Flight 450 and 498: Departing Reno at 11:25 and arriving in Oakland at 12:20. Our counselor will meet with Bay Area parents and then board Flight 498 with the remaining campers. Flight 498 lands in LA at 2:45 pm.
July 3rd
Flight 1194 departing San Jose at 3 and landing at 3:55. Flight 809 and 1194 connecting in San Jose. Flight departs at 12:30 and lands in Reno at 3:55. Unfortunately due to the July 4th holiday, there are no workable direct flights from LA to Reno.
