ARCHERY & RIFLERY
Archery and riflery are both skill-building activities that offer our campers instruction, progression, and the opportunity to set and achieve goals within a structured program. Our riflery program is based on a Junior Olympic Shooting program emphasizing safety, challenge and skill development. Campers have the opportunity to earn certificates and patches as well as compete with other campers for the camp "Marksman" title. Coppercreek's archery program is based on a skill development program designed by the National Archery Association. In addition to our regular archery range, campers who demonstrate mastery of basic archery skills and knowledge of all of the safety rules of the range are eligible to try their skills on our Roving Archery Range. The Roving Range lets campers play Robin Hood and Little John carrying their bows and arrows and roaming the forest seeking out our hidden targets to test their newfound skills.
